Hospitality Talents - Recruitment Agency is seeking an experienced Freelance Maintenance Manager / Chief Engineer to oversee ongoing hotel renovation projects and ensure seamless technical operations across properties in Ghent, Antwerp, and Brussels. The role focuses on project supervision, preventive/corrective maintenance, and team coordination in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities

• Willingness to travel daily between Ghent, Antwerp and Brussels

Responsabilités

• Supervise ongoing renovation works across hotel properties, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects and internal teams to minimize operational disruptions.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and building automation systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hospitality industry standards.
• Mentor and manage the technical maintenance team (in-house and external).
• Organize work schedules and prioritize tasks based on operational needs.
• Provide daily/weekly progress reports on projects and maintenance activities.
