Marriott International’s Sheraton division seeks a senior facilities leader responsible for managing all engineering and maintenance operations at a major airport property. You will oversee the physical plant, energy systems, and safety programs while steering budgets, capital projects, and preventative maintenance to safeguard the asset and guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years in engineering and maintenance or related area; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing.

Responsabilités

• Supervises Engineering in the absence of the Director of Engineering.
• Maintains the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical and life safety systems.
• Maintains and operates equipment for optimum effectiveness, efficiency and safety.
• Establishes and manages an effective rooms maintenance program.
• Ensures compliance with Engineering policies, standards and procedures.
• Manages department expenses to meet budget goals.
• Selects and orders new equipment, supplies, and furnishings.
• Inspects facilities to determine work type and needs.
• Arranges additional services like painting, renovations, and replacements.
• Supervises day-to-day Engineering operations.
• Maintains logs and records; plans preventative maintenance.
• Provides outstanding guest service and handles problems and complaints effectively.
• Leads and develops the team; fosters a collaborative, fair work culture.
• Supports regulatory compliance with facility and safety standards.
