Job summary

NH Collection Gent, part of Minor Hotels, is seeking an experienced F&B Supervisor to oversee restaurant, bar, breakfast, meetings, events and banqueting. You will lead by example to deliver outstanding service in line with Minor Hotels’ standards.

Working closely with the F&B Manager, you will supervise daily operations, coach the team, ensure health and safety, coordinate with kitchen and front office, and drive guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in F&B within hotel, restaurant or banqueting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent guest service and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of restaurant, bar, breakfast and banqueting operations.
• Hands-on attitude with focus on detail and responsibility.
• Willingness to work weekends/public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervising daily operations of restaurant, bar, breakfast, meetings, events and banqueting.
• Lead, coach and motivate the F&B team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Ensure Minor Hotels service standards are consistently met.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and handle feedback professionally.
• Coordinate with Kitchen, Front Office and Events teams for a seamless guest journey.
• Support stock control, scheduling, training and development.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Assist the F&B Manager in achieving objectives and cover in their absence.

Your Day-to-Day at NH Collection

• Supervising the daily operations of the restaurant, bar, breakfast, meetings, events, and banqueting services.
• Leading, coaching, and motivating the F&B team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Ensuring Minor Hotels service standards are consistently achieved.
• Monitoring guest satisfaction and handling feedback in a professional and personalized manner.
• Supporting team scheduling, training, and development.
• Coordinating with Kitchen, Front Office, and Events teams to ensure a seamless guest journey.
• Supporting stock control and operational efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Assisting the F&B Manager in achieving operational and financial objectives.
• Taking responsibility for the department in the absence of the F&B Manager.
