We are a small team of 30+ passionate people, driven by the mission to help non-technical people surf the AI wave.
As Event & Community Coordinator, you will run the events, community and communication around the programme: the launch campaign, the AI Champions network, Knowledge Hours, showcases and roadshows. Between sessions, you will keep participants engaged with a newsletter, intranet articles and testimonials from their own colleagues. You do not need to be an AI expert, but you do need to write clearly for non-technical readers and keep many moving parts on track. Steady, recurring formats matter more here than one big flashy event.
Plan and run programme events: the launch, Knowledge Hours, showcases and AI roadshows across several EU sites.
Coordinate the AI Champions network, from meeting agendas to follow‑up on action points.
Run the editorial calendar: a monthly newsletter, intranet articles and a communication kit for each team.
Collect testimonials from participants and Heads of Unit, in writing or as short videos.
Handle the logistics: rooms, hybrid set‑ups, invitations, attendance and session planning with each unit.
Help write FAQs and responsible‑use guidelines in plain English.
3+ years of experience in event management, internal communication or community management.
Excellent writing skills in plain English, for readers who are not technical.
A very organized way of working: you run several events and deadlines in parallel without dropping anything.
Comfort using AI tools in your own work.
Fluency in English, with strong writing, and French.
Willingness to go through the security screening the client requires before you start.
Experience with EU institutions or the public sector.
Basic video editing skills for short testimonials.
An interest in AI and digital transformation.
Dutch.
You will join a core team that shares methods and materials from day one. You will spend your first weeks alongside the programme lead and more senior team members, then take ownership of your own scope. You are expected to organize your work autonomously and to find your way through formal procedures and approval cycles. Most of your week is spent on site at the client in Brussels, with internal days at our office in Diegem and occasional trips to other EU sites. The client's security screening takes time, so we are selecting candidates now for a start in early 2027.
In exchange, we offer a front‑row seat in one of the largest AI adoption programmes in Europe. You will learn how to build and run a community and communication plan for an AI programme in a large institution, and see from the inside how AI adoption works in practice.
