Job summary

DD Group is seeking an experienced Head of European Warehouse Operations to lead our European distribution operations, with emphasis on Belgium and Italy. This senior role focuses on transforming performance, improving safety, regulatory compliance and customer service across multiple European sites.

You will drive ERP implementation (Microsoft Dynamics 365), warehouse automation and a scalable distribution network.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in warehouse, distribution or logistics across multiple European countries.
• Experience delivering complex transformation programmes and ERP implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the European warehouse and distribution strategy to enable growth and efficiency.
• Oversee operations across European countries with local management teams to maintain standards.
• Drive productivity, inventory accuracy and customer service improvements through planning and performance management.
• Act as European operational lead for ERP implementation, data readiness, testing and training.
• Lead warehouse automation initiatives and measure benefits.
• Support European network development including potential 3PL arrangements.
• Lead due diligence and integration for newly acquired European businesses.
• Ensure compliance with European and local regulations, safety and quality.
• Promote sustainability improvements in energy, transport and packaging.
• Develop and mentor local leaders to build a high-performing team.
• Define and monitor KPIs for service, productivity, cost and transformation.
