Job summary

The Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies offers a six-month internship to university graduates and early-stage researchers in Brussels. The programme aims to deepen knowledge of European affairs and provide insights into the daily work of European institutions.

Interns engage in short-term and long-term policy research, organise meetings and conferences, prepare reports and analyses, edit publications, update websites and liaise with the European Institutions.

Qualifications

• Graduate with academic background in European affairs or related field.
• Fluent in English and computer/internet literate.
• Good knowledge of European politics and policy research skills.
• Additional languages are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in short- and long-term policy research.
• Organise meetings and conferences, prepare reports and analyses.
• Edit publications including the European View and update websites, blogs and databases.
• Liaise with officials from European Institutions and the European People’s Party.
