Job summary

European Space Agency (ESA) Brussels Office invites university students to join the EU Relations Office in Brussels as an intern. You will support EU-institution related activities, attend events and help produce reports and newsletters under supervision.

Ideal candidates are Master’s students fluent in English (and/or French) with an interest in EU policy, space governance, and stakeholder engagement. The internship provides exposure to Brussels processes and a dynamic international environment.

Qualifications

• You must be a university student, preferably in your final or second-to-last year of university course at Master's level.
• You will be enrolled at your university for the entire duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Monitor discussions, policy initiatives and legislative developments within European institutions.
• Prepare briefings, reports, presentations and background material related to institutional relations.
• Contribute to the follow-up of legal and regulatory files, assessing potential impact on space activities.
• Attend meetings, conferences and events, preparing summaries and identifying follow-up actions.
• Collaborate with experts from different disciplines to understand how policy and space programmes support development of the European space sector.
