Job summary

Eval Europe N.V. is seeking a Business Development Engineer to drive EVOH applications in high-barrier packaging across Europe.

You will blend resin expertise with market development, engaging with customers and partners to convert opportunities into commercial success. This role requires building multi-stakeholder partnerships, identifying regulatory-driven opportunities, and supporting the sales cycle from concept to implementation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry or related technical field.
5+ years in B2B business development or technical sales in packaging.
Experience with downstream packaging and food processors is a plus.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with stakeholders across Europe and provide technical and commercial support.
Identify and capture new opportunities into sales aligned with sustainability trends.
Drive replacement of non-recyclable barrier materials with EVOH resins.
Validate recyclable film solutions on packaging machinery.
Troubleshoot on packaging lines during conversions to EVOH-based solutions.
Map value chain to connect market insights with technical needs.
Manage projects from concept to commercialization and implementation.
Represent Eval Europe at industry events to expand opportunities.
