Job summary

Yara International ASA in Brussels seeks a Policy Officer EU Affairs to advance advocacy on climate and energy policy at EU level. The role works with the Public Affairs EU team and reports to the Director, EU Policy.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years’ EU public policy experience, a Master’s in a relevant field, and excellent English; you will manage stakeholder relationships, coordinate advocacy projects, and help deliver Yara’s decarbonization agenda.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in EU public policy, public affairs, advocacy or related fields.
• Very good understanding of the EU political environment and European institutions.

Responsibilities

• Policy & Advocacy: develop and implement Yara’s EU policy priorities and coordinate advocacy across EU level and member states.
• Stakeholder engagement: manage strategic relationships to position Yara as a leading actor.
• Internal collaboration & knowledge sharing: contribute to cross-team knowledge sharing and weekly EU affairs monitoring.
• Team support & operations: assist in events, reporting and internal presentations.
