MCI Group Brussels is seeking an EU Event Sourcing Coordinator to support sourcing for EU institutions and EU-funded projects, translating requirements into supplier requests and preparing transparent comparisons for account and event managers.

The role handles high volumes of quotations, maintains supplier records, and ensures compliance with budgeting and environmental standards; a structured, deadline-driven approach is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in event coordination, sourcing or hospitality management.
• Eligible to work in the EU.
• Experience requesting, checking and comparing supplier quotations and supporting event budgets.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to cost comparisons and accuracy.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Convert client needs into clear supplier requests and obtain offers under contract terms.
• Use templates and internal systems to manage quotations and supplier communications.
• Prepare concise comparison sheets covering price, quality and environmental criteria.
• Maintain audit-ready records of supplier interactions and decisions.
• Support budget mapping and contract review for small-to-mid complexity events.
• Coordinate supplier contracting, briefing, delivery follow-up and closure for small events.
