Job summary

Clean Air Task Force (CATF) seeks an EU Affairs Manager for its Brussels office to advance climate and energy policy advocacy in Europe. You will collaborate with program, communications, and advocacy colleagues to translate technical expertise into coordinated policy actions.

You will build relationships with EU institutions and stakeholders, track policy developments, draft briefs, and support fundraising activities. This is a full-time, one-year role with potential extension based on funding.

Qualifications

• A university degree in EU studies or a similar field.
• At least three years of experience in EU affairs.
• English proficiency and excellent writing skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Advocacy Strategy & Implementation – develop and implement advocacy strategies toward EU institutions and Member States.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Building – build relationships with EU institutions, lawmakers, policymakers, and networks.
• Policy Communications – draft policy briefings, open letters, and fact sheets; contribute to public-facing content.
• Cross-Program Collaboration & Strategic Alignment – connect CATF programs in Europe and support strategy development for 2027.
• Policy Monitoring & Political Insight – track EU legislative initiatives and anticipate developments.
• Policy Research & Analysis – conduct targeted analysis of EU policies to inform advocacy work.
• Fundraising & Donor Support – assist fundraising activities as needed.
