Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) Belgium is seeking a Managing Consultant for the Environmental & EHS practice. The role involves working with diverse industrial and corporate clients on environmental and EHS challenges, translating regulations into practical solutions, and managing risks across operations.

You will join a collaborative team, grow your technical, consulting and client-facing skills, and have the opportunity to work from Antwerp or Brussels with a hybrid model.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental science, engineering, EHS, safety or related technical discipline.
• Relevant professional experience in environmental, EHS or related consulting, industry, engineering or regulatory environment.
• Familiarity with Belgian/Flemish environmental legislation, permitting, impact assessment and/or EHS

Responsibilities

• Deliver environmental, permitting, impact assessment and/or EHS projects for clients.
• Advise clients on environmental and EHS legislation and compliance.
• Support environmental permitting projects in Flanders, including preparation and coordination of permit applications.
• Contribute to environmental impact assessments (m.e.r./MER) and collaborate with technical specialists.
• Help clients identify and manage environmental and EHS risks.
• Prepare clear, high-quality reports and client deliverables.
• Manage own project activities and progressively take ownership of larger assignments.
• Build trusted client relationships and collaborate across ERM.
• Support and share knowledge with junior colleagues.
