Job summary

ERM is seeking a driven environmental consultant to join the Site Investigation and Remediation team in Antwerp. You will work on site investigation, risk assessment and remediation projects across Belgium, collaborating with international teams to implement advanced technologies.

The ideal candidate holds a BSc/MSc in an environmental discipline, with 3–7 years' experience in environmental consulting or remediation project management, and is fluent in Dutch and English (French a plus).

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in environmental disciplines (bio‑engineering, earth sciences, environmental sciences, etc.).
• 3–7 years of experience as an environmental consultant or managing remediation projects.
• Native Flemish/Dutch speaker with strong English; French is a plus.
• Willing to travel for work (<5 consecutive nights) and hold a driving license B.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior consultants and partners in international teams to deliver site management projects from investigation to remediation.
• Manage projects or support senior project managers with planning, bids and delivery.
• Conduct environmental fieldwork including ambient air and soil gas sampling; supervise subcontractors during drilling and remediation operations.
• Draft technical reports and ensure actions meet client objectives and regulations; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
