Job summary

Fastenal Europe, Ltd. is seeking a Full-Time Sales Support (m/f/d) at our Mechelen branch. This entry-level role supports customers and the sales team with orders, inventory, deliveries and service.

You will work closely with branch staff to ensure smooth operations, develop customer relationships, and contribute to sales and marketing activities while meeting safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Sales aptitude and desire to sell are essential.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements.
• Fluent in English and Dutch, strong communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proactive, capable of working both independently and in a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in sales, customer service, or warehouse is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist and drive sales in industrial distribution to achieve targets.
• Develop relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Plan customer visits and provide high-level service.
• Support sales staff with leads, proposals, and trade shows.
• Handle customer inquiries, orders, quotes, and delivery follow-up.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and coordinate deliveries and returns.
• Process credits and invoices and resolve issues.
• Perform general administrative tasks and ensure compliance with policies.
