Job summary

Fastenal Europe, Ltd. is seeking a Full-Time General Manager for our Mechelen branch. You will drive local sales strategy, lead a team, and foster a culture of excellence in B2B selling while developing career opportunities for staff.

You will manage daily operations, communicate progress to stakeholders, and model Fastenal's core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Possess a current full valid driver's license and meet driving record requirements.
• At least one year of Fastenal or related sales experience.
• Degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent industry experience and knowledge of the local market.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Highly motivated and self-directed with ability to motivate others.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills.
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Demonstrate core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
• Ability to lift, slide, carry and lower packages regularly.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing a sales plan in a local territory to reach and exceed business goals
