Job summary

Elia Group, a leading Belgian and European energy company, is seeking a Domain Architect for Corporate IT and AI to shape the technology landscape and ensure strategic alignment.

You will work in the Central IT Architecture team, translating business needs into scalable architectures, driving roadmaps, governance, and risk-aware designs across data, applications and platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in IT Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or Digital Transformation roles.
• Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the architecture vision, roadmap, and target landscape for Corporate IT and AI domains.
• Translate business needs and strategic objectives into scalable, future-proof architecture solutions.
• Govern technology decisions ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, security requirements, and architecture principles.
• Collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders to identify value-creating opportunities and promote operational excellence.
• Conduct architecture reviews and support teams on complex technology, data, and integration challenges.
• Contribute to portfolio optimization through application rationalization, platform reuse, and sustainable technology choices.
• Ensure solution scalability throughout their lifecycle, from design and implementation to operations and retirement.
• Collaborate with data architects, platform architects, and solution architects to ensure seamless integration, strong interoperability, and high-quality data management.
• Integrate resilience, security, compliance, and risk management considerations from the earliest architectural decisions.
• Develop and govern Elia's AI ecosystem to enable responsible adoption of AI solutions that drive innovation and business value.
