Vivid Resourcing in Antwerp is seeking a permanent mechanical engineer with a proven track record and ambition to lead project management initiatives. You will join a medium-sized manufacturing employer in the Antwerp area.

Key duties include analysing production processes, delivering process improvements to boost productivity and OEE, translating R&D designs into manufacturable processes, and designing tooling and test setups to support new product introductions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in mechanical engineering/automation.
• experience with project management responsibilities and stakeholder relationships.
• experience with SolidWorks preferable.

We are working with a client who are looking for a permanent mechanical engineer with a proven track record and project management experience/ambitions, to work within a medium sized manufacturing employer in the Antwerp area.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse existing production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, stability and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Lead and deliver process improvement projects focused on increasing productivity and reducing waste.
• Support the introduction of new products into production, translating R&D designs into practical, manufacturable processes and work instructions.
• Design and develop production tooling, equipment, test setups and other manufacturing resources.
• Analyse production machinery and implement improvements to increase reliability, stability and performance.

About you

• Proven track record in mechanical engineering/automation
• experience in/ambition to take on project management responsibilities and stakeholder relationships
• experience with solidworks is preferable
