Vivid Resourcing in Bruges, Belgium, is seeking an Electromechanical Engineer to join an engineering team developing bespoke machinery for diverse industrial applications. You’ll contribute across the full product lifecycle from concept to prototyping, testing and manufacturing support.

You will design robust, cost‑effective machine solutions using 3D CAD (SolidWorks), integrating mechanical, electrical and control systems, and work closely with electrical and software engineers to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience designing machinery, special-purpose equipment or industrial mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks; experience with Inventor, Creo, Solid Edge, CATIA or similar 3D CAD software.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes and material selection.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop electromechanical components, assemblies and complete machine systems, using SolidWorks (or an equivalent 3D CAD package).
• Develop detailed mechanical drawings, bills of materials, technical documentation and system layouts, considering both mechanical and electrical requirements.
• Integrate mechanical, electrical and control systems to create practical, reliable and manufacturable machine solutions.
• Work closely with electrical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of motors, actuators, sensors, wiring, control systems and mechanical assemblies.
• Support prototype builds, system integration, testing, commissioning and product validation activities.
• Design solutions with consideration for performance, reliability, cost, manufacturability, ease of assembly and maintenance.
• Identify and implement design improvements across mechanical, electrical and electromechanical systems throughout the product lifecycle.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturing teams regarding components, fabrication methods, electrical and mechanical parts, assembly processes and production requirements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electromechanical issues during development, testing and production, identifying practical solutions and improvements.
• Ensure designs and completed systems comply with relevant engineering standards, safety requirements and applicable regulations.

ELECTROMECHANICAL ENGINEER - BRUGES (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITION

We're currently recruiting for an Electromechanical Engineer to join an engineering team developing bespoke machinery and mechanical equipment for a variety of industrial applications. This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging projects where you'll be involved throughout the full product development lifecycle, from initial concepts and detailed mechanical design through to prototyping, testing and manufacturing support.

You'll play a key role in designing robust, practical and cost-effective machine solutions using 3D CAD software, working closely with electrical, software and production engineers to bring complete systems to life. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real engineering problems, has a strong understanding of machine design, and wants to see their ideas progress from the drawing board into finished products.

While the primary focus is on mechanical design, experience with mechatronic systems such as motors, sensors, actuators and pneumatics would be highly beneficial, allowing you to contribute to the development of integrated electromechanical solutions.
