Description du poste

Mission

You are responsible for engineering tasks related to electrical infrastructure projects (380, 220, 150, 70, and 36 kV), specifically focusing on high-voltage lines and the towers and structures that support them.

You Will

• Lead studies and designs for new towers or modifications to existing structures.
• Conduct advanced structural calculations while managing project timelines in line with client expectations.
• Guide designers in creating calculation models, working closely with both internal teams and external design partners.
• Prepare technical documentation for tender processes and take part in procurement activities.
• Oversee the delivery of towers and structures at the manufacturer’s site or during testing phases.
• Provide technical support for site implementation, collaborating with colleagues, project managers, suppliers, contractors, and clients.
• Ensure quality control, carry out inspections, and produce detailed reports.
• Contribute to the optimization and implementation of calculation rules in the structural analysis software.
• Be based primarily in Brussels or Namur, with the flexibility to work from home up to three days a week.

Profile

• A Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, architecture, or physics.
• Between 3 and 5 years of relevant experience or knowledge in steel structures.
• A strong interest in detailed technical studies.
• Proven knowledge and experience in steel structure design.
• Proficiency in engineering software, 3D modeling, and finite element analysis tools.
• Fluency in French or Dutch, with a good command of English.
• Bonus skills in MS Project, VB.NET, VBA scripting, or Fortran.
