VECTOR SYNERGY seeks an Engagement and Communications Consultant in Brussels to lead strategic communications initiatives and stakeholder engagement with cyber, AI, data, and hybrid topics. You will craft speeches, key messages, and materials for leadership while driving an engagement plan for industry and Allied partners.

You will develop a cohesive narrative connecting CDT efforts in training, exercises, and policy to raise awareness and inform diverse audiences in a challenging security

Qualifications

• University degree in communications, marketing, public relations, political science, international relations, security studies, technology policy or another relevant discipline.
• 8+ years of senior experience in strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, public affairs, marketing or external relations.
• 3 years in a senior or lead communications role advising management and leading initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Prepare high-quality communications products such as speeches, key messages, presentations, briefing materials, web and social content.
• Develop and maintain an engagement and communications plan for industry, academia, Allied stakeholders, and public audiences.
• Develop a strategic narrative linking CDT training, exercises, policy documents and related efforts.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience Required

• A university degree in communications, marketing, public relations, political science, international relations, security studies, technology policy or another relevant discipline ;
• Demonstrated Senior experience (8+ years) in strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, public affairs, marketing or external relations, preferably in the cyber, digital, defence, security or emerging-technology sectors ;
• 3 years in a senior or lead communications role, advising management and leading strategic communication initiatives.

Duties/role:

• Preparing high-quality communications products, including speeches for leadership, key messages, presentations, briefing materials, web and social media content, stakeholder packages, and event-related materials ;
• Developing and maintaining an engagement and communications plan for industry, academia, Allied stakeholders, and relevant public audiences to raise awareness and understanding of cyber, AI, data, and hybrid issues, as well as CDT developments in these areas ;
• Developing a strategic narrative linking CDT efforts in training, exercises, concept development, and policy documents.
