seeks an Engagement and Communications Consultant in Brussels to lead strategic communications initiatives, draft leadership speeches, key messages, and stakeholder materials. The role requires a university degree in a relevant field and at least 8 years in senior communications, plus 3 years in a lead advisory position guiding management on external relations, cyber and security topics.

Qualifications

• Must have senior experience (8+ years) in strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, public affairs, marketing or external relations.
• Strong track record advising management and leading strategic communication initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Preparing high-quality communications products: speeches, key messages, presentations, briefing materials, web and social media content, stakeholder packages, and event materials.
• Developing and maintaining an engagement and communications plan for industry, academia, Allied stakeholders, and public audiences to raise awareness of cyber, AI, data, and hybrid CDT issues.
• Developing a strategic narrative linking CDT training, exercises, concept development, and policy documents.

Skills, knowledge, experience required:

• A university degree in communications, marketing, public relations, political science, international relations, security studies, technology policy or another relevant discipline ;
• Demonstrated Senior experience (8+ years) in strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, public affairs, marketing or external relations, preferably in the cyber, digital, defence, security or emerging-technology sectors ;
• 3 years in a senior or lead communications role, advising management and leading strategic communication initiatives.

Duties/role:

• Preparing high-quality communications products, including speeches for leadership, key messages, presentations, briefing materials, web and social media content, stakeholder packages, and event-related materials ;
• Developing and maintaining an engagement and communications plan for industry, academia, Allied stakeholders, and relevant public audiences to raise awareness and understanding of cyber, AI, data, and hybrid issues, as well as CDT developments in these areas ;
• Developing a strategic narrative linking CDT efforts in training, exercises, concept development, and policy documents.
