Job summary

Abbott is seeking an experienced Senior Demand Planner to lead demand planning and Integrated Business Planning for the EMEA Heart Failure business in Belgium. You will drive forecast accuracy, align cross-functional teams and support strategic decision-making with Finance, Marketing and Supply Chain.

You will own regional demand plans, facilitate monthly reviews, and help develop our IBP capabilities across EMEA, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, S&OP, or Integrated Business Planning.
Strong analytical skills with Excel, forecasting models, planning systems and data visualization tools.
Strong communication, collaboration, leadership and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced knowledge of SAP APO Demand Planning, SAP IBP, or similar enterprise planning systems.
Experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and Power BI is an advantage.
APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
Experience in multinational, Medical Device, Healthcare, or Life Sciences environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly Integrated Business Planning Demand Reviews for assigned EMEA regions and align stakeholders around plans and assumptions.
Develop and maintain rolling 24-month demand forecasts based on market trends and lifecycle plans.
Partner with Commercial, Finance, Marketing and Supply Chain to align forecasts, risks and mitigations.
Monitor forecast performance and inventory health and recommend corrective actions.
Support product launches, line extensions and end-of-life transitions while minimising inventory and supply risks.
Evaluate business risks, opportunities and supply-demand scenarios for decisions.
Align IBS forecasts with Latest Best Estimate and financial plans with Finance.
Translate data into clear business recommendations and improve forecasting processes and KPI s.
Support development and continuous improvement of EMEA Heart Failure IBP framework with up to 10% travel.
