Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Zaventem, Belgium, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst EMEA & APAC to partner with finance and commercial leadership across regions. You will lead balance sheet reviews, working capital management, SG&A planning, and forecasting while delivering actionable insights to drive performance.

The role requires 5+ years in FP&A/Controllership, advanced Excel, and experience with Hyperion, SAP or similar systems. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, Controllership, or Commercial Finance.
Strong understanding of balance sheet management, working capital, financial reporting, and SG&A management.

Responsibilities

Support monthly close and forecasting process (LBE).
Lead balance sheet reviews across EMEA & APAC, with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable, working capital, and Other Assets & Liabilities (OAL).
Own SG&A reporting, forecasting and spend management across the region.
Analyze financial performance and provide meaningful insights to finance and business leadership.
Identify risks, opportunities, and key performance drivers through data-driven analysis.
Develop executive-ready reporting and presentations to support leadership decision-making.
Drive reporting standardization, process simplification, and automation initiatives.
Participate in strategic finance projects supporting business growth, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
