Kaneka Belgium NV is seeking a Business Development Specialist to drive sales and marketing efforts across the EMEA region. You will report to the Business Manager EMEA and help set budgets and action plans while analysing market data to shape marketing strategy.

You will guide technical teams and customers to identify opportunities, develop customer-specific solutions and promote Kaneka MS Polymer technology at events and seminars.

Qualifications

• Master in Science (preferably in Chemistry) or equivalent through experience.
• Strong background in chemistry, polymers and related applications.
• Experience in business development or sales, especially in speciality chemicals, adhesives, sealants, polymers, construction chemicals or related industries.
• Strong understanding of construction, industrial, automotive or manufacturing market.
• Ability to engage commercially and technically with customers across R&D, purchasing, production and management functions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team.
• Strong knowledge of English (additional EU languages are an advantage).
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Sales, marketing and generate profit according to the agreed business plan in EMEA.
• Report and assist to set up the sales budget and action planning.
• Collect, analyse and report market information to develop the marketing strategy.
• Provide strategic guidance to technical teams, customers and agents to identify new market opportunities and maximize sales outcomes.
• Collaborate with technical, marketing and product management teams to develop customer-specific solutions and convert new business opportunities.
• Promote the technical and commercial advantages of Kaneka MS Polymer technology.
• Represent Kaneka at industry events, exhibitions and technical seminars.
