Job summary

Kaneka Belgium NV is seeking a Business Development Specialist to drive sales and marketing initiatives across EMEA. You will report to the Business Manager EMEA, helping set sales budgets and action plans while analyzing market data to shape strategy.

You will translate technical and commercial insights into customer solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, promote Kaneka MS Polymer technology, and represent the company at events. Expect significant travel (30-50%).

Qualifications

• Master in Science (Chemistry) required or equivalent.
• Strong background in chemistry, polymers and related applications.
• Experience in business development or sales in speciality chemicals or similar industries.
• Strong understanding of construction, industrial, automotive or manufacturing markets.
• Ability to engage commercially and technically with customers across functions.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English; knowledge of additional EU languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales and marketing plans to generate profit in EMEA.
• Report to the Business Manager EMEA to set up sales budget and action planning.
• Collect, analyse and report market information for marketing strategy.
• Provide strategic guidance to technical teams, customers and agents.
• Collaborate with technical, marketing and product teams to develop solutions.
• Promote Kaneka MS Polymer technology advantages.
• Represent Kaneka at industry events, exhibitions and technical seminars.
