Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), part of Danaher, is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to support the Leuven site on-site. You will monitor EHS performance, lead investigations, and maintain ISO 14001 compliant documentation within a collaborative, continuous-improvement environment.

The role demands Dutch fluency and strong English, with experience in chemical handling/manufacturing environments, and a proactive approach to training and records management.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of EHS regulatory requirements.
• Required Prevention Advisor level III.
• Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English.
• Experience in chemical handling/manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve EHS performance, track KPIs and conduct site tours.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses; develop corrective actions.
• Promote and train on the EHS management system and onboarding programs.
• Maintain records for the EHS management system and ISO 14001 documentation.
• Support and enhance Environmental Management Systems, waste management, and internal audits.
