Major Manufacturing is seeking a seasoned QHSE professional to shape safety culture across its Sint-Niklaas site. If you enjoy hands-on work on the production floor, solving problems, improving processes and driving environmental performance, this could be your next career move.

Qualifications

• Around 5+ years' experience in a QHSE/SHEQ/HSEQ role within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Quality or related field, plus Preventieadviseur Level 2 or 3.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 management systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the business.
• Fluent Dutch and strong English communication.

• Leading workplace safety inspections and supporting a proactive safety culture.
• Coordinating employee training, inductions and occupational health initiatives.
• Supporting ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems and audit activities.
• Investigating incidents, non-conformances and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Monitoring quality and environmental performance while identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Supporting regulatory compliance, product stewardship and sustainability initiatives.
• Working closely with operational teams to ensure quality, safety and environmental standards become part of everyday operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

You'll be successful if you have:

• Around 5+ years' experience in a QHSE, SHEQ, HSEQ or EHS role within manufacturing or another industrial environment.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Quality or a related discipline, together with Preventieadviseur Level 2 or 3.
• Experience working with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 management systems.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to influence people across all levels of the business.
• Fluent Dutch and strong English communication skills.
