A biotechnology company in Belgium is looking for an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to enhance their EHS program in Leuven. In this role, you'll monitor performance metrics, conduct incident investigations, and maintain documentation regarding EHS standards. The successful candidate should be fluent in Dutch, have a level III Prevention Advisor certification, and experience in chemical handling environments is preferred. Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO Standards; ISO 14001 is a plus.
• Experience in EHS within chemical handling or manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and maintain EHS performance, track key performance indicators.
• Lead incident investigations and conduct root cause analysis.
• Communicate and build awareness of the EHS management system.
• Maintain accurate records related to the EHS management system.
• Support the Environmental Management System including waste management.

Connaissances

Working knowledge of EHS regulatory requirements

Fluent in Dutch

Proficient in English

Formation

Required Prevention Advisor level III, preferred level II
