Job summary

Lawyers On Demand is seeking a junior legal support to assist the in-house team as the Head of Legal & Compliance builds a new function. This role sits between a legal administrator and junior paralegal, focusing on practical legal admin and day-to-day contractual support.

You will gain exposure across jurisdictions, handle contract renewals, document management, and streamline processes while developing knowledge of the organisation over time.

Qualifications

• Experience in legal administration, legal assistant, junior paralegal or relevant executive assistant role.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn rather than deep legal expertise.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a supportive capacity.
• Service-oriented and pragmatic approach.
• Confident communicator across countries and functions.

Responsibilities

• Supporting legal counsel with contract renewals and contract administration
• Assisting with document management and maintaining legal records
• Handling general legal administration and operational tasks across the legal function
• Providing support on routine contractual matters requiring an understanding of legal terminology and basic contractual concepts
• Helping to organise and improve legal processes as the legal function becomes more centralised
• Working closely with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions within the group
• Contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the legal team
• Building knowledge of the organisation and gradually taking on additional responsibilities where appropriate
