Delivery Hero is seeking a Director of Engineering, Platform to lead Global Developer Engineering within Tech Foundations. Based in Berlin, you will drive a cohesive platform, empower 4,000+ engineers, and optimize cloud-native infrastructure costs while delivering a superb developer experience.

You will guide unified multi-cloud architecture (AWS/GCP), build platform-as-a-product capabilities, mentor leaders, and shape governance across subsidiaries, reporting to the VP of Global Developer

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or SRE with platform focus.
• Experience scaling a unified developer platform in large orgs.
• Strong cloud-native, microservices, and observability background.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute platform strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead global platform engineers and mentor senior leaders.
• Oversee multi-cloud architecture and cost optimization.
