Gaming1 is seeking a Platform Engineer to build and maintain the internal developer platform, delivering self-service tooling and automation for engineering teams across the group.

You will implement IaC, ensure security, monitor performance, and contribute to disaster recovery planning while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, international environment. This role offers hybrid work with up to 50% remote and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
• Strong platform engineering mindset: self-serviceability, automation, and developer experience.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
• Working knowledge of container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm).
• Ability to write code for automation purposes (Python, .NET, or similar).
• Understanding of security standards for operational platforms.

Responsabilités

• Co-Design and implement platform capabilities using Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
• Create self-service tools and automation that improve developer productivity.
• Ensure security standards are applied and kept up to date.
• Monitor performance, capacity, and availability from a customer-centric point of view.
• Implement and validate disaster recovery procedures and processes.
• Proactively test the flexibility and resilience of the platform.
• Research, experiment with, and evaluate new technologies to drive platform innovation.
• Evangelize platform capabilities through documentation and workshops.
• Collect and act on user feedback to continuously improve the platform experience.
