Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher Platform, is seeking a Government Affairs Director to shape sustainability, chemicals and product-related policy developments. You will influence regulatory strategy and coordinate cross-functional teams across Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Sustainability, and Supply Chain.

The role reports to the Global Head of Government Affairs and Policy and may be located at a Cytiva site in Uppsala or Amersham, with a remote option based in Brussels.

Qualifications

• Long-standing experience in life sciences government affairs, public policy, regulatory affairs, sustainability or related fields.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects with Legal, Regulatory, Sustainability, Supply Chain and Commercial teams.
• Experience representing an organization with trade associations, coalitions or regulatory bodies.
• Experience working across multiple regions in a multinational matrix organisation.
• Experience supporting business responses to major regulatory or legislative changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification and assessment of emerging sustainability, chemicals and product-related policy developments.
• Provide timely analysis and advice to senior leaders on risks, opportunities and business impact.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to evaluate regulatory developments and responses.
• Develop and support advocacy strategies with industry coalitions and government affairs colleagues.
• Build relationships with external stakeholders to strengthen visibility and influence on policy matters.
• Provide horizon scanning and early warning of regulatory, geopolitical developments affecting Cytiva.
