Qualifications

8 years of European public policy / government affairs experience
Strong track record of policy shaping and public affairs campaigns
Expert understanding of European policy institutions and EU decision-making
Active network of contacts in EU institutions and national governments
Experience engaging with policy stakeholders at country level across Europe
Fluent in English; another European language preferred (Spanish or Italian)
Advanced degree in law, science, business, economics or political sciences
Strong communicator with ability to influence without authority
Ability to translate complex topics into resonant messages for diverse audiences

Responsibilities

Lead development and implementation of government affairs strategies for EU level.
Shape European policy using expertise in EU decision making and cross-functional teams.
Represent BMS in select trade association advocacy and external groups.
Support cross-functional teams in European markets to meet objectives.
Develop and manage relationships with public affairs agencies and partners.
