Medpace is seeking a full-time, office-based Director, Account Management to join our Commercial Operations team in Leuven.

You will oversee hiring, training, evaluation and retention of staff; develop fee estimates for RFPs, budgets and contract amendments; provide strategic financial input to RFIs; maintain staff turnover below 7%; and serve as the primary relationship manager for the Sponsor and internal team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; MBA preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in contract management and pricing in pharmaceutical or clinical research.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; understanding of financial and accounting processes.
• Basic knowledge of drug development services and medical terminology.
• Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee hiring, training, evaluation, and retention of employees within Commercial Operations, including direct management of a team.
• Provide strategic input and oversee development of fee estimates for RFPs, budget revisions, and contract amendments.
• Provide strategic financial input to client RFIs in association with other personnel as required for each opportunity.
• Maintain <7% turnover rate among staff.
• Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecasted data to determine progress toward goals.
• Evaluate departmental capacity needs and coordinate workload with timelines.
• Key relationship manager for Sponsor.
• Act as escalation point for Sponsor and internal team.
• Participate in client steering committee.
