Digital Workplace Project Manager | Global Pharmaceutical Environment | Employee Experience & Technology Transformation
Are you an IT Project Manager who enjoys delivering technology initiatives that directly impact how employees work, collaborate, and stay connected?
We're partnering with a global pharmaceutical organisation undergoing significant digital transformation and are looking for a Digital Workplace Project Manager to lead a portfolio of workplace technology initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys managing complexity, and can successfully deliver projects where priorities evolve and plans aren't always fully defined.
We're looking for a proactive self-starter who can bring structure to ambiguity, challenge stakeholders when needed, and keep delivery moving at pace.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading end-to-end delivery of digital workplace and end-user technology projects.
- Managing initiatives focused on employee experience, collaboration tools, workplace modernisation, and productivity platforms.
- Coordinating technical teams, vendors, business stakeholders, and leadership groups across multiple workstreams.
- Driving project plans, governance, risks, budgets, dependencies, and reporting.
- Supporting workplace transformation programmes across global office and remote environments.
- Ensuring operational readiness, user adoption, and successful business outcomes.
- Bringing organisation and clarity to projects operating within rapidly changing environments.
- Removing blockers and maintaining momentum to ensure successful delivery.
What You're Looking For
- 3-5+ years' experience as an IT Project Manager within Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or other highly regulated environments.
- Experience delivering one or more of the following:
- Digital workplace transformation programmes
- End-user computing projects
- Collaboration and productivity platform implementations
- Microsoft 365 migrations and upgrades
- Employee experience technology programmes
- Endpoint and device refresh projects
- Hybrid working and workplace technology initiatives
- Service and user experience improvement projects
- Strong technical awareness, allowing you to engage with technical delivery teams and challenge assumptions when required.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across IT and business functions.
- Experience working within large-scale transformation environments where priorities and requirements can evolve.
- A highly motivated, delivery-focused individual who thrives under pressure and pushes projects forward.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, Intune, Endpoint Management, or Workplace Collaboration platforms
- Experience leading global workplace transformation programmes
- Familiarity with change management and user adoption activities
- Exposure to infrastructure, cloud, service delivery, or end-user computing environments
- Experience working within multinational organisations
Who Will Succeed in This Role?
The successful candidate will be someone who:
- Enjoys operating in fast-moving transformation environments
- Can create structure where processes are still evolving
- Builds strong relationships across technology and business teams
- Remains calm and delivery-focused when priorities change
- Balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution
This role is ideal for someone who sees changing priorities as part of the challenge rather than an obstacle.
Why Apply?
- Join a major digital transformation programme within a global life sciences organisation.
- Deliver projects that directly improve employee experience and business productivity.
- Work alongside senior technology leaders and transformation teams.
- Gain exposure to complex global initiatives with significant business impact.
