eXalt is seeking a Functional Analyst to bridge business stakeholders with IT teams in Brussels metropolitan area. You will translate business needs into robust functional solutions within complex enterprise environments.

You will model processes with UML, contribute to API interfaces (REST/SOAP), and support dev teams with clear functional deliverables. Hybrid work, 2.5 days on-site. Fluency in English with French/Dutch native is required.

Qualifications

3+ years in functional/business analysis in banking/insurance/utilities environments.
Strong documentation and analytical abilities with solid structuring.
Experience with UML modelling tools such as Enterprise Architect or Lucidchart.
Hands-on knowledge of API concepts (RESTful/SOAP, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman).
Good knowledge of SQL, Excel, and at least one scripting language (Python).
Familiarity with enterprise environments and data-driven systems.
Understanding of application lifecycle management; exposure to Cloud (Azure) and Kubernetes is a plus.
Fluent in English and native in French and/or Dutch.

Responsabilités

Gather and analyze business needs from stakeholders and translate into clear specifications.
Model business processes and system interactions using UML (use cases, sequences, class diagrams).
Contribute to API interface design, documentation, and maintenance (REST/SOAP).
Provide functional deliverables to development teams throughout implementation.
Coordinate functional testing and organize UAT to ensure quality.
Provide day-to-day support and troubleshoot functional issues and system behavior.
Drive process improvements across business processes, applications, and data flows.
