EngiFlex seeks a skilled Functional Analyst to contribute to digital applications supporting energy transition and customer services for vulnerable customers. Tasks and responsibilities

As a Functional Analyst, you contribute to the further evolution of a portfolio of digital applications that support the energy transition, customer-facing energy services and processes for customers in vulnerable situations. This landscape includes a digital data hub, an ERP environment and mobile and web applications connected through web services.

• You gather and analyse business needs, translate them into clear functional requirements and help define suitable solution scenarios.
• You facilitate discussions and workshops with business and technical stakeholders in order to explain options, align expectations and build consensus.
• You translate business requirements into detailed functional and, where needed, technical specifications.
• You assess solution options in line with the IT architecture, taking into account the end-to-end application and technology chain, including API-based integrations, web-based platforms, mobile applications and cloud-based environments.
• You document analyses and proposed solutions in functional designs, using the agreed methods and tools, including UML, BPMN and a modelling tool such as Enterprise Architect.
• You act as the link between business stakeholders and development partners, and you review the technical solutions that are proposed.
• You follow the full delivery cycle end to end, from requirements elicitation and functional analysis through development follow-up, testing and go-live.
• You monitor the quality of deliverables and maintain the reference documentation.
• You coordinate, prepare and execute test plans and test cases, and you support and coordinate UAT to ensure solutions meet production expectations.
• You contribute to application management together with the developers.
• You analyse, document and follow up identified defects until resolution.
• You provide second-line support in incident and problem management.

Your profile

• You are an experienced Functional Analyst.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch and have a good command of the other national language.
• You have solid experience in requirement analysis and in translating business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• You are comfortable facilitating workshops with both business and technical stakeholders.
• You have hands‑on experience with end‑to‑end delivery, from requirements gathering to testing and go-live.
• You have experience designing test plans and test cases, and coordinating user acceptance testing.
• You are familiar with API-based application integration.
• You have experience with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure, and ideally with cloud migration or cloud-based application landscapes.
• You understand mobile applications and web-based digital platforms.
• You have experience with process and analysis modelling in UML and BPMN.
• You are familiar with a modelling tool, for example Enterprise Architect.
