Empire Consulting is hiring a DevOps engineer to build and own CI/CD pipelines in a fully remote role based in Belgium. You’ll drive automation with Terraform and Ansible, lead containerization with Docker, and partner with development teams to embed DevOps best practices across the lifecycle, supporting multi-cloud deployments.

The role offers significant ownership, progression from mid-level to principal, and a focus on reliability, security, and scalability in a fast-growing fintech context.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in DevOps/CI/CD engineering (higher for senior/principal).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD best practices and security gates.
• Experience with IaC and containerization.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows (GitHub/GitLab) and Agile methods.

Responsabilités

• Architect, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with security gates.
• Drive automation with Terraform (IaC) and Ansible (config as code).
• Lead containerization efforts using Docker and related tooling.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed DevOps across the SDLC.
• Deploy, scale, and support production workloads on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Troubleshoot complex systems spanning infrastructure and applications.

What you’ll do

• Keep ahead of new technologies and help shape DevOps strategy.

What we’re looking for
