Louvain-la-Neuve, BE-based IBA Worldwide is seeking a Design Verification Engineer to design and verify safety systems in Proton Therapy solutions. You will merge system engineering, hardware, documentation and testing across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities include defining test procedures, maintaining traceability, translating system needs, and coordinating hardware configurations. Expect up to 50% travel across Europe and occasional night shifts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in system engineering, verification, hardware, project engineering or automation.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Willing to travel up to 50% for on-site testing and implementation.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute test procedures, expected results and supporting evidence.
• Maintain traceability between product changes, requirements, tests and results.
• Translate system needs into clear specifications for design teams.
• Coordinate hardware configurations and upgrade the safety control unit and electrical cabinets.
• Assess impact of architecture, automation, and hardware choices, incl. modular safety system development.
• Maintain technical documentation, component data and bills of materials.
• Collaborate with System Expert, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Quality, Sourcing and others.
• Support on-site system testing, mainly in Europe; travel up to 50% with occasional night work.
