Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com Belgium is seeking a Delivery Operations Manager to drive network performance across the Belgian market. You will leverage large data sets to identify root causes, influence stakeholders, and lead experiments to improve delivery outcomes and cost efficiency.

You will manage end-to-end network KPIs, coordinate configurations with central teams, and push continuous improvements while balancing analytical rigor with pragmatic decision-making.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with data and analysis tools.
• Experience and proven success in a budget-ownership role (incl. forecasting functions).
• Track record of driving operational targets, ideally in a digital-first environment.
• Willing to work outside of regular business hours on an exception basis (e.g. during a crisis).

Responsibilities

• End to end accountability for network outcomes such as on time delivery, delivery times, undelivered orders, courier rejections, etc.
• Budget accountability and responsible for identifying and executing delivery network costs optimisation efforts (e.g. cost per order, onboarding cost)
• Accountability for operational configurations across courier fees, incentives, utilisation, assignment logic, cost functions, etc.
• Implementation and administration of the desired configurations on an ongoing basis (with support from central teams)
• Evaluate changes from multiple angles, balancing analytical assessment with a pragmatic point of view and communicate implications to stakeholders.
• Leverage analytical tools to identify trends and insights on an ongoing basis and share recommendations.
• Propose and support network experiments in partnership with central analytic and optimisation teams.
• Ad hoc project support such as playbook documentation, new zone launches, zone throttling, key cities, etc.
• Identify and advocate for continuous improvement opportunities for the network.
• Collaborate with global and local stakeholders to align priorities and share best practices.
• Crisis management support as needed to support business continuity.
