Wlgroup is seeking a project manager to deliver cyber security capability within a defence programme. You will develop statements of work for competitive bids, gathering detailed technical and non-technical requirements from stakeholders and translating them into clear SOWs.

You will track milestones, visualise progress and communicate status to a broad audience. The role is on-site in Belgium, starting October 2026, with an emphasis on rigorous governance and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Recent project management experience in a large organisation, focused on delivering C4ISR capability in the defence sector.
• At least two years working directly with an alliance or national defence ministry delivering military, CIS or IT capability.
• A detailed understanding of the security investment programme framework used here.
• Significant recent experience writing statements of work for competitive bidding.
• A recognised project management qualification — PRINCE2 Foundation, PMP, DAWIA Program Management Level II, Managing Successful Programmes, Risk Management Professional, Lean Six Sigma or similar.
• Relevant cyber security certification such as Security+, CCSP or CISM.
• Strong English, at professional proficiency, and confident with Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Power BI.

Responsabilités

• Manage the delivery of cyber security capability within a defence programme.
• Develop statements of work used as the basis for competitive bidding from industry, including the detailed collection of technical and non-technical requirements.
• Track and communicate project status and milestones, visualising them so the message lands.
• Work within the established investment programme framework for this environment.
• Brief stakeholders clearly, in writing and in the room.
