Job summary

BDO Belgium is growing its Deal & Valuation team in Liège. We offer advisory, audit, tax and legal services to a range of clients from multinationals to SMEs. You will start in a general role and build a career with training through the BDO Academy.

You will analyze financials, support due diligence and information memoranda, and develop a deep understanding of Corporate Finance and M&A processes in a collaborative, flexible environment.

Qualifications

• University background in finance or business economics.
• Excellent knowledge of French.
• Advanced working knowledge of English and German; Dutch is a plus.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Prior traineeship in Corporate Finance, M&A, private equity, or audit is an asset.
• Analytical mindset and results-driven attitude.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Target's financial statements in due diligence, valuation or Info Memo prep.
• Prepare Q&A for Target's management.
• Research potential acquisition targets for vendor mandates.
• Research industry information to support Information Memorandum prep.
• Draft reports for due diligence, valuation, and Information Memorandum.
