BDO Belgium invites a junior consultant to join our Deal & Valuation team in Battice. You will support due diligence, valuation and information memorandum tasks within the corporate finance domain.

You will refine your skills through the BDO Academy, gain exposure to multiple client industries and collaborate with a multinational advisory team in a flexible work environment.

Qualifications

• University background in finance or business economics.
• Fluent in French; strong English and German; Dutch is a plus.
• Experience in Corporate Finance, M&A or related internship is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the Target's financial statements in the context of due diligence, valuation or Info Memo preparation
• Preparation of Q&A for Target's management
• Research of potential acquisition targets in the context of a vendor's mandate
• Research of industry related information to support the preparation of Information Memorandum
• Draft reporting of due diligence report, valuation report and/or Information Memorandum

What will you be doing?

What do you bring to the table?

• University background in finance or business economics
• Excellent knowledge of French
• Advanced working knowledge of English and German. Dutch is a big plus.
• Strong understanding of Excel and how it can be applied to corporate finance
• Good knowledge PowerPoint is essential for drawing up reports.
• Prior traineeship experience in Corporate Finance, M&A, private equity, audit or similar environment is a strong asset
• Analytic mindset triggered to understand complex problems
