Huxley in Brussels seeks a Senior AI & Data Science Expert to guide the company’s AI strategy and lead end-to-end Data Science initiatives in a regulated banking environment.

You will mentor data scientists, shape AI governance, and collaborate with business, data, and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable GenAI and ML solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI.
• Hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, ML, GenAI, and MLOps.
• Exposure to AI governance, Responsible AI, or AI regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent English and either French or Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end Data Science and AI initiatives from scoping to production.
• Develop and industrialize AI solutions using Python, SQL, ML, GenAI, and MLOps.
• Mentor other Data Scientists and define AI governance processes.

We are recruiting for a Senior AI & Data Science Expert role with a major client in the banking sector that is undergoing an ambitious data and AI transformation.

In this position, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the company's AI strategy, leading end-to-end Data Science and AI initiatives while helping establish an enterprise-wide AI governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements, including the EU AI Act.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading advanced Data Science, Machine Learning, and Generative AI use cases from business scoping to production.
• Assessing business needs, feasibility, value creation, and investment opportunities.
• Developing and industrializing AI solutions using Python, SQL, ML, GenAI, and MLOps practices.
• Acting as a senior technical reference and mentoring other Data Scientists.
• Defining and implementing AI governance processes, risk assessment frameworks, and compliance practices.
• Collaborating closely with Business, Data, and IT stakeholders in a regulated environment.

We're looking for professionals who have:

• 7+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Python, SQL, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and MLOps.
• Exposure to AI governance, Responsible AI, or AI regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent English AND either French or Dutch.
