La Fosse is partnering with a respected Belgian data and AI consultancy to find a (Senior) AI Engineer who wants ownership, influence and a real path to leadership. You'll shape AI solutions from first client meetings to production, and mentor engineers while contributing as a trusted technical voice.

In this role, you will tackle GenAI, classic ML, and statistics across multiple industries, building end-to-end pipelines with strong evaluation, monitoring and governance.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years as an AI/ML Engineer with production experience.
• At least one AI solution taken from POC to production.
• Strong Python and SQL, plus solid software engineering habits.
• Hands-on GenAI experience (RAG, agents, vector databases or LangChain/LlamaIndex).
• Cloud experience (Azure, AWS or GCP) and Docker.
• Consultancy or client-facing experience.
• Some mentoring experience and ambition to lead.

Responsabilités

• Turn client challenges into practical AI solutions, from quick MVPs to secure, production-grade applications.
• Build end-to-end pipelines with proper evaluation, guardrails and monitoring.
• Coach junior colleagues and help set technical standards.
