Consort Group in Brussels is seeking an experienced AI Data Scientist to lead advanced Data Science and AI use cases from scoping to deployment and monitoring.

You will provide hands-on guidance, coach the team, and collaborate with business, data and IT teams to align needs with feasible, value-driven solutions while shaping the enterprise AI governance framework in line with EU AI Act and responsible AI principles.

Qualifications

• University degree in a quantitative or technical field or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in Data Science, ML or AI.
• Experience delivering end-to-end solutions from scoping to production and monitoring.
• Experience acting as a senior technical reference, coaching others.

Responsabilités

• Lead Data Science and AI use cases end to end from business scoping and value assessment through development, deployment, adoption and performance monitoring.
• Challenge business needs, assess feasibility, define success criteria and provide recommendations to support prioritization and investment decisions.
• Develop advanced analytics, Machine Learning and generative AI solutions, or supervise their delivery when other team members or partners are involved.
• Define and promote robust technical practices for Data Science and AI solutions.
• Lead the definition and implementation of the enterprise-wide AI governance framework, in line with Group standards, responsible AI principles and the EU AI Act.
• Establish practical processes to identify and assess AI initiatives, validate implementations and support investment decisions.
