Job summary

Coltech is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to help build and scale a modern AWS-based data platform powering analytics and data products across the business.

You will design and maintain data platform services, develop robust pipelines with business teams, optimize Redshift performance, and push automation and DevOps best practices across the organisation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services Redshift and S3.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and data products.
• Familiarity with observability, data governance, and platform best practices.

What we're looking for:

• 3+ years' experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering
• Strong experience with AWS, particularly Redshift and S3
• Hands-on knowledge of Airflow, dbt, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and data products
• Understanding of observability, data governance, and platform best practices
