3D-ICT in Brussels is seeking a Data Governance Specialist to reinforce the Central Data Governance team. You will help structure and manage our Data Governance program and translate principles into operational reality.

You will collaborate with Business, IT, and Data stakeholders to align needs, improve data quality, transparency, and traceability, and ensure compliance with BCBS239 and Solvency II requirements.

The Central Data Governance team of the client is looking for a Data Governance Specialist to

strengthen the team. In this role, you will play a key part in the structuring, management, and

implementation of our Data Governance program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the implementation of the Data Governance framework (Business Glossary, Business Lineage, Data Quality).
• Collaborate with various Business, IT, and Data stakeholders to align needs, harmonize decisions, and propose concrete solutions.
• Challenge existing practices to improve data quality, transparency, and traceability, while respecting business constraints.
• Ensure compliance within your domain with key regulations, such as BCBS239 and Solvency II, by aligning your scope with internal and external requirements.
• Translate Data Governance principles into operational reality.

Profile:

• You are able to structure an approach, convince others, and bring your stakeholders along with you.
• You are comfortable leading strategic discussions and know how to move from theory to action.
• You are pragmatic: you respect decisions made in the past and actively look for areas of improvement.
• You are an excellent communicator, autonomous, and results-oriented.
• You have a good understanding of Data Governance principles and are willing to become an expert in this field within the specific context of the client.

Additional Advantages:

• You already have experience in the Risk Modeling domain.
• You have previous experience in the data domain.
• You establish contact easily, are comfortable interacting with different stakeholders, and know how to convince them.
• You have knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as BCBS239, Solvency II, or equivalent frameworks.
• You are bilingual (French/Dutch) and have a good command of English.
