Koda Tech in Belgium is seeking a Data Governance & Compliance Officer to shape enterprise-wide data governance and compliance in a regulated environment, collaborating across Business, IT, Risk, Security, Legal and Privacy teams. You will drive the governance roadmap, ensure GDPR alignment, and improve data quality and lifecycle management.

The role requires strong cross-functional engagement and a proactive approach to training and adoption.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Data Governance, Data Management or IT Governance.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working across business and IT teams.
• Familiarity with data quality and governance tools.
• Fluent English plus Dutch or French.

We are looking for a Data Governance & Compliance Officer to help shape and strengthen enterprise-wide data governance and compliance practices within a complex, regulated environment. This role sits at the intersection of Business, IT, Risk, Security, Legal and Privacy teams, ensuring data is managed effectively, securely and in line with regulatory requirements
