Koda Tech in Belgium is seeking a Data Governance & Compliance Officer to shape enterprise-wide data governance and compliance in a regulated environment, collaborating across Business, IT, Risk, Security, Legal and Privacy teams. You will drive the governance roadmap, ensure GDPR alignment, and improve data quality and lifecycle management.

The role requires strong cross-functional engagement and a proactive approach to training and adoption.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Data Governance, Data Management or IT Governance.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working across business and IT teams.
• Familiarity with data quality and governance tools.
• Fluent English plus Dutch or French.

Responsabilités

• Drive the data governance roadmap and framework.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, Data Act and other regulations.
• Improve data quality, metadata and lifecycle management.
• Lead governance initiatives, training and stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor governance maturity, KPIs and adoption.
